The
past day 18 of December, last president of the assembly of Rebekah
of the Republica of Cuba had to pass away our Sister Maria Alejano
,mother of our Brother and friend Robert Martinez Alejano present
Great Secretary of the Great Lodge of Cuba and past Great Master.
Maria that outside light guides of our institution and active
member of the lodge Armony n.62 I leave its death drained between
which we knew it and we had in her a sister, a friend, a mother.
Mas of half of its life given to the Odfelismo give faith of its
love at your service where I get to reach but the high hierarchies;
we have wanted to dedicate these humble letters, like a deserved
tribute to the sister who all we will remember and be strange
and this who today writes, that always the respect and admired
like one of the Great ones of the Cuban Odfelismo. Our Maria sister
rests peacefully and knows where she wants that this who its example,
its fight by this Order which as much it loved and to that it
dedicated most of his life, will not be in vain. |

Late of happiness for Children With Cancer: The
past day 24 of November the Lodge Future no. 47 accompanied by
the other Lodges of the Oddfélico Building of Habana City,
and of the C.h-4 District gave fulfillment to a memorable agreement
of this year: To make an activity for the entered children in
the room of Pediatría of the Institute of Oncología
and to take gifts, treats and a recreational activity to them
that made them feel happy within the own malaise of its disease.
They were two hours in this center in which brothers, sisters,
relatives of the small patients and the medico personnel were
united as a great family and offered a little him breath, hope
and happiness to those who receive the medico treatment in that
room. Well by the brothers of Future no. 47 and the Lodges that
supported this activity that demonstrates once again that the
Independent Order of Odd Fellows can contribute like Brotherly
Institution in all the good one of this world. |
CARRIED
OUT SESSION no. 161 OF the GREAT LODGE OF CUBA days 25
and 26 of November in the Oddfélico Building of Habana
City the Representatives of the Lodges of our Jurisdiction occurred
to appointment to carry out Session no. 161 of this Great Body
and to treat the subjects that are incumbent on more to our Great
Lodge. Agreements of importance were adopted and they publish
themselves in the Brotherly Bulletin where they can be known by
all, but most important it is the encounter of the brothers who
coming from all the Provinces of the Country, meet every six months
and share days in a frank brotherly atmosphere. In this month
of November the elections of the Great Civil employees took place
who will govern the destinies of this Great Lodge in the 2006
and Were installed by Great sire of the Great Lodge of Latin America
Hno. Julian Rock Knoll. We hoped that this year our Order continues
progressing in Cuba with the work of all in frank brotherly union. |

At night of the 17 of October the Brother Great
Secretary of the Great Lodge of Cuba Robert Martinez altogether
of the commission who accompanied it composed by the brothers
Onix N.G. Martinez by the Lodge Jose Marti # 1, Jose Loisis Batiste
Act Secretary of the Lodge Future #47 and the Hno. Red Lyan Writes
of Finances of our dear Habana Camping #2 I visit Bacuranao #128
which is located in the town of barriers in the outskirts of Havana,
municipality of Guanabacoa, was received by the Hno. Popy Great
Noble Dominguez in functions along with the other there present
members, with which they shared the works, making a pleasant session
and worthy to admire, I magnify work that comes making on the
part of the brothers from this lodge, was recognized by the Hno.
Great Secretary that in addition thanked for the aid by this Lodge
to the central act of the approach brotherly and I urge the brothers
with wise words fruit of a great experience like Odd to hard continue
working by an order but, but united, but mighty and to continue
fighting by our postulates, Friendship, Love and Truth. |

Dear brother:
Ours first letters are of a sincere
and Brotherly greeting for you and all the Great Sovereigns
Civil employees as well as a message of happiness by the New
Year.
Hno. Terry, cheers to us in the
personnel who you are the Sovereign Great Secretary because
we had the possibility of knowing it in 2002 when she visited
our Jurisdiction and she caused one pleasing impression to us.
Today we do this letter to him,
because in the Session 159 of our Great Lodge of conducted Cuba
days 26 and 27 of November, we had to know the agreement that
Sovereign Great Lodge to dissolve the Committee that it had
created to help to the repairs of the Lodges in Cuba. Certainly
the measurement opposed us to all, nonsingle reason why it represents
for our Lodges from the angle in which beneficiaries saw themselves
when receiving an economic aid to improve the state of the Buildings,
given the situation that we crossed years ago; what it has hurt
to us more is that the work made by this Great Lodge of Cuba
has been put in judgment fabric in that sense. We accepted brotherly
disciplined and all the decisions of that Great Body but we
considered that one was not due to judge to us and much less
to condemn without before knowing for sure the facts. Our Great
Lodge of Cuba and the Great Lodge of Latin America, as therefore
they decided it in his respective sessions give faith, that
the Cuban part at any moment acted according to the Regulation
that settled down for it, and granted the aids in agreements
to the received requests. All the requests of Lodges that followed
the procedure established received the corresponding aid. No
Lodge of our Jurisdiction has gone to the Cuban part showing
to discord or displeasure, all those that went to us received
the due attention and all received the benefits of this aid
that you offered us, for that reason the misfortune and malaise
of all the representatives of Lodges who attended this Session
159 when having knowledge of this decision of you and mainly
that has badly judged the work made with as much fervor by the
brothers whom they have integrated from year 1998 the Cuban
Commission that took care of these subjects.
We are thankful much what the Odd
Fellows of the World has done until today by the Odd Fellows
Cuban and we will never forget it, we did not request and much
less we demanded that it is continued helping to us, which if
we requested and we demanded is that the prestige of our Great
Lodge of Cuba is not always stained that from year 1925 comes
directing the works from the Odd Cuban Felismo and respecting
the directions that emanate here of that Superior Body, that
lamentably has needed the support and aid that you have given
us in these ultimos years, but that are remembered and been
well sure that in Cuba, the Odd Fellows we have worked and we
will continue working united by the engrandecimiento of our
Order of the Three Links.
